Daniese McMullin-Powell is a prominent disability rights activist based in Delaware, known for her decades-long advocacy for accessibility, inclusion, and opposition to assisted suicide legislation. A polio survivor who has used a wheelchair for much of her life, McMullin Ho-Powell has worked with organizations such as ADAPT and Not Dead Yet to fight policies that she believes endanger people with disabilities.
