Joseph Delgado is the CEO of Self-Initiated Living Options, Inc (SILO). The organization believes people with disabilities and elderly individuals should be able to determine their own destinies, participate in all aspects of society and contribute to and share responsibility in community life. The organization primarily serves Suffolk County in New York.
SILO is chartered by the New York State Legislature and contracted by NYSED, ACCES-VR, ILC Department to provide independent living services through-out the Long Island Region.
SILO partners with the New York State Department of Health, New York State Office for the Aging, New York Association for Independent Living and over 300 Human Service agencies and private vendors on Long Island to ensure a comprehensive set of services for our participants and clients.
