Statement
Physician-assisted suicide posess unimaginable threats to the disability community. The poor status of our health care system, coupled with diminishing access to services that allow us to live in our communities, all add up to PAS having the potential of being an attractive option, particularly to people who are economically disadvantaged, people with no insurance, veterans, persons of color and other marginalized groups.
